My Story
Hello I'm Sandra. I am an independent celebrant specialising in a full range of ceremonies which honour love, loss and life. Originally from Yorkshire, I base my practice in Surrey, West Sussex and London, and will happily travel nationally and internationally.

I have been a freelance event manager for 30 years, working with blue-chip corporate clients, luxury brands and private individuals, curating and delivering every style and size of event from weddings to product launches, to performance, parties and employee celebrations.

SANDRA COLLINS | Celebrant
People know me as a natural organiser, attentive, a good listener, and someone who is genuinely positive, patient and enjoys connecting with others. I bring creativity, curiosity, and an open mind to everything I do.

I am a creator at heart and as a trained celebrant, my work is to craft ceremonies that are professional, feel authentic, inspiring, and memorable - and where appropriate - are lots of fun!

I also provide volunteer services for Cruse, a UK charity that supports bereavement. I have found this work challenging, humbling and rewarding in so many ways over the years, and it is always a privilege to be able to support people through grief and life changing circumstances, and to be able to make a small difference.

I have always loved travelling, cultures, the outdoors, art and history. I spent much of my mid-20s and 30s exploring the world backpacking. In later married life with two children, the travel bug passed on, and we continued to adventure as a family. Now, with two mini grandchildren from my stepson and his lovely wife, another exciting chapter begins.

Branching into celebrancy feels very natural for me. It is an opportunity to continue crafting and delivering experiences while working closely with diverse people and situations to create bespoke and meaningful occasions. With my event experience, you can trust that your ceremony will run smoothly and without worry, which also brings me great joy!
